Most of the socializing takes place before lunch as everyone arrives and congregates.
After lunch we have the “meeting” portion of the reunion. During this time we honor those who have passed during the year, the oldest and youngest in attendance, the person who traveled farthest, etc. We also discuss any items of importance for the family.
-
During the meeting, crafts and activities are available for children. There is also a children’s parade.
-
We have family t-shirts, hats, coozies, etc for sale at the reunion. There may also be copies of our current history book and cookbook for sale, depending on availability.
There are usually a few historical items to browse. Family members are invited to bring family items to display each reunion.
